At Donelson Middle School, we're dedicated to providing a safe environment that can enhance creativity, uniqueness and brilliance for all. Our students have a broad range of opportunities, inside and out of the classroom, to challenge them and help fulfill their individual interests.
GATE supports our gifted students, ensuring their curriculum is challenging and meets their educational needs. Our optional Cambridge Advanced Academics Program gives students a holistic understanding of the core subjects with a focus on inquiry, problem-solving and next-level thinking. Participating students can then make a seamless transition to continue the Cambridge program at McGavock High School. We also make tutoring available to any student.
Donelson Middle School also practices blended learning, combining digital learning with traditional classroom instruction. Arts are a part of our core academic program, and our students can excel in concert band, pep band, and/or orchestra. Students may also receive keyboard and guitar instruction in our music labs.
